A sample board is a tool used in interior design that brings all the design elements of a room together. Placing each element beside another in one place ensures that each piece works well with the next. Sometimes referred to as color or mood boards, these provide a “last chance” to double check that the colors and textures blend well before putting them in a room. The sample board should be a snapshot of the finished room with a scale drawing showing the location of each element.
